We did our annual mural at the San Diego Comic Con International in 2000 from July 20-23. That year, we did something a little different and created a real portable mural that was taken to artists all over the floor of the convention for their drawing. The finished mural will be up on the site soon! Don't miss it! Bring your friends, family, colleagues, elearners.com students, your neighbors! Anybody interested in drawing, art, or comics will have a blast. The atmosphere is creative and electric. All are welcome. We hope to see you there!

Thanks to Starlog's Comicscene 2000 and the San Diego Mission Valley Hilton for sponsoring us.

We quickly ran through our supply of Winged Tiger dolls, and wished we brought more.
(Who knew there'd be such a demand?)
This lovely young lady came back at the end of the show to purchase our last remaining display model.
Hopster's Tracks creator Stephanie Gladden. She also has a wonderful drawing in the sixth issue of The Winged Tiger comics.

The Crater Kid's creator Marty Baumann and Astounding Space Thrills creator Steve Conley. Both have great strips on their web sites!

Heart of Enpire's Bryan Talbot came all the way from England as a special guest of the convention. Bryan's work is featured in Winged Tiger #3.

12 year old fan artist Neil Phillips joined the fun.

Cat, a fan from San Diego, had this wonderful tattoo from the Wizard of Oz books on her arm. We turned her into a Winged Tiger fan as well!

From Winged Tigers to Winged People! Phil poses with a fan, and the Winged Tiger can't resist an impromptu guitar serenade.
