Our mural at the annual BookExpoAmerica show at Javits Center
was a huge hit. Left to right: CAA President Phil Yeh, Russian artist
Stan Povelikin , Mike Wolf CAA's VP in New York City and European
Vice-President Klaus Leven. |
|
Teenage Mutant Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman stopped by to
add a Turtle to the mural and say hello to fans. Yeh, Stan Povelikin and Klaus Leven join the fun. |
|
Stuck Rubber Baby graphic novelist Howard Cruse joined us in New
York City. Howard is truly one of the world's most outstanding
storytellers. He showed samples of his award-winning graphic novel in
French, German and Italian at our booth. |
|
St. Louis based muralist and graphic artist Wendy Baker really
added a nice touch to the finished mural which was of course donated to
a local school after the event. |
|
Detail showing Wendy's work at the bottom of the piece and
Leven's Joey & Gonz characters in their flying saucer. Klaus met the
folks at the Frankfurt Book Fair while we were in New York and they
extended an invitation to create a mural at their world famous show in
October from the 9th to the 13th. So if you happen to be in Germany at
this time, please stop by and see us. We will have lots of well known
artists with us in Europe. |
