Dear Klaus and Phil: |
|
The first time I heard of what you are doing with Cartoonists Across
America & The World was at the Lohrhof-Center in Recklinghausen,
Germany. Your slogan, Building a World of Readers, Artists, and Dreamers really reached me personally because I believe that dreamers are the people who can cross boundaries and who can change things and the people around them. I think that many people are hiding their feelings behind a wall that they build themselves. These people are unable to trust themselves in order to cross their own border. Maybe I belong to these people, but someone must teach (or advise) us, that we have to have the courage to take a risk in our life, that we can see something on the other side of this wall. It saddens me that so many people are hiding their own feelings from everyone, including themselves. Itıs so important to learn to be honest with ourselves and others. Itıs not always easy to accept our feelings but we can learn to handle this. My mom said that most creative and artistic people are very sensitive, that they write, create and draw with their hearts. With these feelings from the heart, they create beautiful poems, tell wonderful stories, write beautiful music and make great pictures. Creative people are giving dreams to us and they can change life. We have to learn to live together, to build a world of dreamers, because dreams can change your life and dreamers can change the world. |
